Petrol and pertrol-start kerosene-run engines, pumpsets and gensets from the Petrol Engines Unit at Thoraipakkam. This plant was set up in 1967 in collaboration with Norton Villiers, England. Greaves has built on the strengths and launched new product - MK-40 engine suitable for pumpset and reaper application was introduced in 1995.
In 2000, Greaves launched MK-20 Petrol Kerosene Engine for various applications such as Pumpset, Genset, Reaper, HTP Sprayers. In 2002, the GP-2000 Genset was launched for Commercial requirements. In 2004, the canopised and LPG versions of this genset have also been launched.
Diesel pumpsets for agricultural applications from the Light Engines Units at Aurangabad and Ranipet. This plant was set up in 1976, to manufacture a range of lightweight, high speed diesel engines for agricultural applications..
Power Tillers suitable for smaller land holdings of the average Indian farmer was launched in 1998. Direct Injection power tiller, more powerful and fuel-efficient was introduced in 2004. .
